Oil study after William Wendt 12 x 14

William Wendt was able to use scads of green and still make a good painting-
a study from Wednt to better understand his methods.

Been playing with this one for a time.  I lowered the mountains, added more green
to the hills and made the boat a bit larger.   Gallery wrapped  18"  x 24"  oil.

Going from Acrylic

to oil  - in process  24"  x  24" birch panel

Finished.  In memory of Childe Hassam.  A study piece to learn more about his
painting methods.  24" x 31"  oil over acrylic.
