Starting a Marion Waugh cover of a great water color painting...will try it in oil (starting with acrylic)

This has been finished for some time---having camera uploading difficulties...will catch up soonest.

Here's how it turned out (about 90% done)... The ground level has a diner reminiscent of Edward Hopper's Night Hawks...there was a green awning that looked more like a train passing by so I let that happen///  then above are some office windows...and finally a close up of one... 20" x 60" acrylic...difficult to take a photo actually...has been a fun one.

-Have a 20" x 60" canvas... picturing myself at work in a high rise building looking across to the next building...the bottom floor will be a diner a bit like the "Night Hawks" painting of Edward Hopper...this will be out of my head--combination of abstract and real...

Did this one 2 times...acrylic...30" x 48" each...  This painting (one of them) has been selected for inclusion in the annual Blue Line Arts gallery Members Medley show July 17-Aug 16 -Roseville, CA...I think I priced it at 1,350.00.

I envisioned what's to the left and right---about 9 feet from end to end --acrylic.

                        panels as have been curious--what's around the corner and where does the horse end?

Mostly just having fun with this one making it up as I go...

Did this in watercolor several times --will do an oil version.  I added some color to this one with some acrylic.

That should do it.

Fabian's Italian Bistro in Fair Oaks, CA is one of my favorite places --I started a painting from memory and then took a few photos at Fabian's and continue---about 30% done -in acrylic 30" x 48"...looks it's going to be ladies nite at Fabian's...

Acryllic -  40" x 40"  (I added some whiskers since this photo)

Rains finally stopped and got some natural light for a photo.

Acrylic 30" x 40"  using umber, deep orange, Venetian red and white. Dark and rainy today so can only use artificial light.  About 60% finished.
